Job Description

We are looking for a skilled, responsible, and compassionate Home Nursing / Patient Care Professional to provide quality nursing support and patient care at home or in hospital settings. The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring the patient’s physical condition, following doctor’s instructions, providing basic nursing care, and ensuring the patient’s comfort, safety, and hygiene.

The candidate must be caring, patient, disciplined, and able to communicate properly with patients, family members, doctors, and healthcare supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the patient’s physical condition regularly

• Check and record blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration, and oxygen level

• Administer medicines as prescribed by the doctor

• Provide injections, saline support, and IV cannula care as required

• Perform wound dressing and basic wound care

• Provide post-operative patient care

• Prevent and care for bedsores

• Check blood sugar for diabetic patients

• Manage catheter, urine bag, and feeding/medical tubes

• Assist with nebulization and oxygen support

• Help the patient with food, water, and nutrition

• Assist the patient with sitting, standing, walking, transfer, and movement

• Support personal hygiene, grooming, and cleanliness

• Provide special care for elderly, paralyzed, bedridden, or long-term care patients

• Observe pain, discomfort, abnormal changes, or emergency symptoms

• Follow medical reports, prescriptions, and doctor’s instructions properly

• Update family members about the patient’s condition

• Contact the doctor, supervisor, or hospital in case of emergency

• Provide mental support, encouragement, and companionship to the patient

• Help maintain a safe, clean, hygienic, and comfortable environment at home or in the hospital

Required Skills

• Basic nursing and patient care knowledge

• Experience in elderly, bedridden, post-operative, or chronic patient care

• Ability to monitor vital signs

• Knowledge of hygiene, infection control, and patient safety

• Good communication and patient-handling skills

• Responsible, punctual, honest, and compassionate attitude

• Ability to work under doctor’s or supervisor’s instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant / Medical Nursing Assistant / Caregiver training certificate

• Previous experience in home nursing, hospital patient care, or elderly care

• Experience in catheter care, wound dressing, oxygen support, and diabetic patient monitoring will be preferred
